Would you like to learn how to make cyanotype prints?

You will learn how to make a sun print, otherwise known as a cyanotype - this type of printing is unique in that it is a form of photography that does not require a camera or an expensive darkroom.Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple and low-cost process to produce copies of drawings, referred to as blueprints. You will be making prints on @ 17.5cm x 24cm card. The printing process is accessible, super easy and you will be able to create a stunning final work of art with its signature Prussian blue colour within minutes! You can book your course with me via Obby.

It’s in the bag!

I am continuing to teach myself how to sew & exercise some patience! This is made from an old pair of leather trousers I found in a charity shop, the zip is vintage & the tassel is from one of my key rings.

My podcast debut!

I am delighted to announce my podcast debut! Each month the London Photo Festival (I co-run the Festival & Gallery) will be interviewing photography experts and other interesting people. This month's podcast is an excellent conversation about mentoring for photographers with the marvellous Zoe Whishaw. You can follow the London Photo Festival on Podbean to be the first to hear my monthly podcasts. https://londonphotofestival.podbean.com/

Initially yours!

Practice is (nearly) perfect! Would you like to have your initials painted on your camera strap?

My new hobby continues!

I managed to catch the sun yesterday to make some more cyanotype prints!  #greatesttravels
